The TBC family welcomes you! Please stop by the visitor’s booth, located in the Jones Center, where members of our Hospitality/Greeters Team will greet you and help you get situated. Below are answers to some questions you may have before visiting TBC. 

When and where are your worship services? We have two Sunday worship services.

Where should I park? We have parking spaces in the back parking lot and on 2nd and James streets as well as public parking in the Burlington City High School Gym. If the Gym, Back of Church, 2nd and James Street parking lots are full, you may also park on the gravel/grass parking near the rear of our Fellowship Hall with the dome roof.  

How should I dress? Some of our congregants enjoy dressing up for worship, while others choose to dress in a more casual fashion. Whichever you choose, we welcome you to come as you are! 

What kinds of programs do you have and for what ages? We have a wide variety of programs for all ages from infants to senior adults. For details click here

You are probably reading this because you’ve just recently joined or rejoined the church. Whatever your reason, it is daunting experience, isn’t it? As a newcomer, you are probably experiencing a gamut of motions, from being somewhat anxious to being excited, eager, and even joyous. You may even be wondering if you made the right decision. We recognize that joining a new church can be an intimidating experience and because of that, we want to give you a few pointers so you can enter our church confidently. I’m sure that a number of questions are on your mind such as: Am I doing everything correctly? Will I be accepted? How will I be able to fit in? What does the church expect from me? What can I expect from the church? Jst know that we are here for you every step of the way. May you grow in grace, and know that you’re not alone because you’re home!

  1. Is there a dress code? No, there is not. We expect our members to dress accordingly and comfortable to the season of the year.

  8. Your required to go to the Pre-baptism classes where further information will be provided
  9. Benevolence Procedure Guidelines–Please contact the Deacon Board x-201 or deacon@tabernacle-burlington.org and they will provide further assistance providing your benevolence request.
  10. Baby Dedications are typically conducted on 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays at 7:30 or 11:00 am service. Complete form on church website or contact churchclerk@tabernacle-burlington.org
